Setting up Things Cloud

With Things Cloud, you can keep your to-dos up to date wherever you're using Things. Things is available for the iPhone and iPod touch as well as the iPad via the App Store.

To set up Things Cloud:

Step 1

Make sure your Mac and any other devices on which you're using Things are connected to the internet.

Step 2

On your Mac, choose Things > Preferences… from the main menu and click the Things Cloud pane.

Step 3

Click the Things Cloud switch to turn it to the ON position.

Step 4

If you haven't yet created a Things Cloud account, click the Create New Account button. If you're already using Things Cloud on another device, click the Log In button.

Step 5

Follow the on-screen instructions to get started with Things Cloud on your Mac.

Step 6

If you haven't yet done so on your other devices, log into your Things Cloud account.

In Things for iPhone or iPod touch, return to Things' home screen, then touch the gear button in the bottom right. Touch Things Cloud at the top of the list. Touch the switch and log into your Things Cloud account.

In Things for iPad, touch the gear icon on the Lists popover or lists sidebar and then touch Things Cloud at the top of the list. Touch the switch and log into your Things Cloud account.

After you've logged into Things Cloud, your to-dos will be updated automatically when you have an internet connection.
